Der Newsletter von heute Nacht hat es mich bereits vermuten lassen: Die Final von QTS 5.1.0 rückt näher, heute ist der RC erschienen!
Hier die Release Notes:
Alles anzeigenImportant Notes
In QTS 5.0.1 or earlier, users can no longer create new VJBOD disks from a remote NAS if the remote NAS is running QTS 5.1.0 or later. If there are existing VJBOD disks connections to the remote NAS before it is updated to QTS 5.1.0 or later, these VJBOD disks are unaffected and remain operational after the update. In QTS 5.1.0 or later, users can still create VJBOD disks from a remote NAS running QTS 5.0.1 or earlier.
To use QNAP cloud services, please ensure that your network environment can access our service endpoints. For details, see https://www.qnap.com/go/how-to/faq/con_show.php?cid=2851
Security Updates
Applied security updates to further enhance system security.
Enhancement
Storage & Snapshots
Enhanced the UI for snapshot deletion to provide more information for snapshot statuses and background tasks.
Added the new IronWolf Health Management (IHM) status "Critical Warning" for Seagate drives. The new IHM status replaces "Not Available" as a trigger event in Predictive Migration. QTS also no longer blocks a Seagate drive when the drive's warranty status cannot be obtained from Seagate servers.
Control Panel
You can now edit, enable, and disable power schedules.
Users can now save their QTS login credentials in their web browser. To enhance the security of your QTS user account, we recommend enabling 2-step verification.
Fixed Issues
Fixed an issue where users could not enable TwonkyMedia DLNA Server in Control Panel.
Fixed an issue where users could not save changes to text files in Text Editor.
Fixed an issue where Storage & Snapshots occasionally could not complete a Snapshot Replica job.
Fixed an issue where Storage & Snapshots could not complete a Snapshot Replica job when the username on the remote NAS contained @ (at sign) or . (period) characters.
Fixed an issue where Storage & Snapshots would still display --/-- in red for CPU temperature (as if it were an error) even on some ARM NAS models that do not support displaying CPU temperature.

Fixed an issue where the system would display an unexpected notification on the desktop when users performed an antivirus scan job.
Fixed an issue where users could not join the NAS to an LDAP domain if their password contained $ (dollar sign).
Fixed an issue where Storage & Snapshots would not hide volume encryption options even when the country code was set to certain regions. (Note: Volume encryption options are hidden in certain regions.)
Fixed an issue where users could arbitrarily access and edit a configuration file in the phpMyAdmin folder in File Station. (Note: Normally, users are not authorized to edit such a configuration file.)
Fixed an issue where File Station would display an error message when multiple users simultaneously edited the same Excel file via Office Online.
Fixed an issue where File Station had inconsistent download behaviors when users tried to download files in the Linux Station folder.

Fixed an issue where File Station could not display email information in the user list when asking users to select what other users to share files with.
Fixed an issue where share links in File Station would contain an incorrect port number if users enabled reverse proxy server in Control Panel.
Fixed an issue where users could not move transcoded video files from the @Transcode folder to a folder on another volume.
Fixed an issue where File Station would occasionally stop responding when users opened a folder.
Fixed an issue where File Station sometimes could not generate a share link when secure connection was enabled.

Known Issues
QTS with newer kernel versions do not support ATTO Fibre Channel adapters. If you have already installed an ATTO Fibre Channel adapter on your device, we do not recommend updating the firmware to QTS 5.0.1 for the time being.
Da sind einige interessante Dinge dabei, für mich besonders wichtig mal wieder die Sache mit den Snapshot Replika... ich hoffe die laufen dann ab sofort wieder ordentlich
