Ich vermute, dass hier das eine oder andere Mal schon drüber diskutiert wurde...
Dennoch - und auch nachdem mich den Händler befragt und im Web diverses dazu gelesen habe - bin ich noch immer nicht ganz klar wie es im konkreten Falle einer Seagate Exos laufen würde...
Informiere ich mich direkt bei Seagate lese ich:

How Long Does the Coverage Last? Seagate will publish a warranty period for each Seagate product (the “Product”) as part of the Product and price agreement. The warranty period for each Product begins on the date of shipment to the OEM customer. For Product sold to a Seagate OEM customer (“OEM”), the standard warranty period is:
- three (3) years for Notebook Storage and Desktop Storage drives;
- three (3) years for Consumer Electronic drives (with the exception of IronWolf Pro and SkyHawk AI drives, the warranty period is five (5) years);...
Demnach würde ich vermuten, dass die Garantiedauer für die OEM Exos 3 Jahre wäre?! Frage ich den Händler gibt`s als Antwort "nur" die gesetztlichen 2 Jahre Garantie.
Was stimmt denn nun? Und wie würde der Garantiefall mit Seagate laufen? Direkt via Seagate? Oder über den Händler?
