LINUX expert gesucht.....

    Dear QNAP-fans,

    About 2 weeks ago there was a power failure at my home and the Qnap TS-659Pro+
    did partly crash.

    The NAS was configured to start again when the power did come back, and it did.

    However when i want the use my Folders and files throught Samba on my windows 7 Pro computer,
    i found out something was wrong ( i was not aware on the powerfailure right now)
    What did i found out :
    * All users where gone (but i have Back-Up)
    * the network specifications did change into other vallues....
    * There is missing about one year of logging and this is the piece where the firmware is also complaning about.
    * The log says the Firmware on the harddisk is not the same as on the DOM module.

    But the biggest problem is the some Folders are not viewable anymore on windows, but by doing a check
    they seem to be on the nas still. The vallues of de Used and the free space are still the same as before the power failure.
    Some self-made folders where still there.
    The crazy thing is i now have a volume 2 (with the common and some selfmade folders)
    before there was just one volume.

    Because i am pretty sure the DATA is still there I am asking for some help, because i am not aware
    of Linux / Putty or WinSCP commands.

    So can somebody help me with a teamviewer sessie to back up the contains of the missing folders under windows
    to an external Hard drive. Because i do not know the commands, but i do have the names of
    the "unvissible" Folders in windows !
    You do not have to do it just for Free !
    If you are living in the neighbourhoud i also can come to you with the nas or you can come to me.

    I also did immediatly contact the QNAP Service in Holland..
    But when the have started wednesday for 10 days it became 17:30 hr and they got closed
    and they promised to get back to me but till today nothing happened.

    So Please HELP ME OUT if you can...

    The are about 5 folders which should be copied to an external hardrive.

    Beste Qnappers,


    Zo'n twee weken geleden is door een stroomuitval mijn NAS TS-659ProPlus deels gecrasht. :cursing:


    De nas stond zo ingesteld dat ie bij het terug keren van de netspanning zou herstarten en dat heeft ie ook gedaan ..... :)

    Echter, na deze automatische herstart bleek het volgende....

    Al mijn gebruikers waren verdwenen (doch Back-Up) :saint:

    De netwerk instellingen waren gewijzigd IP-adressen alsmede de poort. ??

    Ik mis een stuk van het logboek namelijk 2016...


    De nas klaagt over verschillende FW versies op de harde schijf (oude versie) en de DOM


    Het ergste is nog dat een aantal mappen niet meer zichtbaar zijn onder windows verkenner.
    Echter deze staan nog wel op de NAS want dit kon ik zien na een scan middels WinSCP / Putty.
    Ook de gegevens van schijfgebruik en vrije ruimte kloppen nog met die van voor de stroomstoring. 8)


    Kortom kan iemand me helpen om middels bijv. een TeamViewer sessie m.b.v. Putty of WinSCP de bewuste mappen te kopieren naar een externe harde schijf.

    Jij mag me ook een script sturen met de commando's dan ga ik er zelf mee aan de gang, maar gezien de urgentie van sommige data is het me liever als een "specialist"

    me er mee zou willen helpen. (hoeft niet voor niets !)


    Ik heb het probleem ook bij QNAP service NL neergelegd en die zijn er een week geleden mee bezig geweest en dan wordt het half 6 en gaan ze dicht.......

    einde verhaal.
    Afgelopen week nog een keer een mail gehad " mijn Qnap" was niet bereikbaar ; Nee nogal widus ik had al twee dagen gewacht en de derde dag moest ik serieus

    naar mun werk dus was ik niet on line.
    Meteen een antwoord gestuurd dat ie vanaf afgelopen donderdag weer on-line zou staan middels TV sessie,

    maar tot dusver (weer) geen respons gehad.............. Pffffffffffffffff


    Ik hoor graag als je me even kunt helpen een 5 tal mappen te kopieren vanuit WinSCP of Putty, enkele overige zijn wel zichtbaar en heb ik al gekopieerd.

    What sawachika want to say is that you may have a better chance when posting your request at least in English ;).

    Although I do understand mostly of your post I am not aware if I get all your request.
