KVM Image einbinden

    Hallo Leute,


    ich verzweifle heut noch mit der QNAP ehrlich ... wenn ich in der VIrtuStation ein IMG von meinem alten Win12 einbinden will und !alle! Einstellungen wie vorher benutze, startet das System dennoch nicht und will eine Systemreparatur durchführen. Diese Reparatur bringt natürlich nichts und wird abgebrochen ... Was bitte mache ich falsch ..?! :-/ :cursing:

    Du hast eine IMG Datei - Aus welchem Virtualisierer kommt die? Läuft die virt. Maschine noch unter dem anderen Virtualisierer?
    Auf welcher Plattform lief der Virtualisierer, den Du vorher im Einsatz hattest.

    So, problem habe ich wieder.
    Und zwar musste ich meine QNAP neu installieren, das Problem ist nun wenn ich das .img von meinem WinServer2012R2 einbinden will mit den selben Einstellungen wie davor startet sie nicht.


    Nur wenn ich als Controller den IDE nehme geht die VM... warum nicht wenn ich den 'Virtual Disk Controller' nehme? Das .img war ein VDC ....


    Habe die Lösung am Ende in einem anderen Forum gefunden, für jeden den es Interessiert:

    After everything is working with the IDE driver, shut down and go to the Virtualization Station configuration screen for the VM. Add a new hard drive (HDD 2) with the Virtio controller and let it set up a small new NAS drive. You should then load the Virtio drivers disk in the virtual CD. Now start up the VM. After you are in, go to Device Manager in Windows and you will see the Virtio controller there as an unidentified device. open it, click on update driver, select browse, and then navigate to the directory on the virtual CD with the Virtio SCSI driver. Install it and then you will see that it is now listed correctly under Storage Controllers in Device Manager. Finally, shut down Windows Server and go back to the Virtualization Configuration screen. Delete your first hard disk (but make sure to not delete the image file!). On the remaining controller with the Virtio driver, switch the disk image to the one you were using for Windows Server. Start the VM back up and you are good to go! BTW, make sure you set the time server with w32tm correctly in the server so that it is pulling time externally (not from itself) or you will find that the time will drift substantially and cause you headaches with logins at clients!
