QuTS hero h5.0.0.1949 Build 20220215 released (kurz)

    Für Hero wurde nun mit insbesondere dem Fix für die SMB Sicherheitslücke nachgezogen, weitere Fixes sind enthalten.

    • QuTS hero could not create correct share links for emails when users accessed QuTS hero via SmartURL.
    • A storage pool would still remain degraded when users attached and recovered the storage pool after removing SSD cache.
    • Users could not cancel or delete video transcoding tasks in File Station.
    • QuTS hero occasionally could not free up storage space for a storage pool.
    • Some NAS models could not detect disks installed in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th drive bays after a firmware update.
    • Users sometimes could not finish attaching and recovering a storage pool due to session timeout.
    • Shared folders occasionally would be missing after users attached and recovered a storage pool.
    • An unexpected error message would appear when users selected Qsync in File Station and then went to Settings > File Operations.
    • Storage & Snapshots sometimes could not display disk health information after users removed and then reinserted a disk.
    • Storage & Snapshots sometimes could not detect a disk after users removed and then reinserted a disk on an expansion enclosure.
    • Users sometimes could not copy ACL permission settings when copying files via Fast Clone.
    • QuTS hero login would take a longer time when users selected an image of large size as the desktop wallpaper.

    Hier läuft auch alles fluffig auf einer 673A.

    habt ihr das manuell installiert oder über das auto Update? Ich habe das Problem, dass die Updates nicht automatisch installiert werden. Bei meiner

    TVS-672XT und auch nicht bei meinem TS 673A mit Jeweils QTS Hero h5.0.0.1892. Bei den Automatischen Updates habe ich Neueste und Empfohlene Versionen aktiviert, funktioniert aber auch nicht wenn ich die Einstellungen ändere. Auch wenn ich jetzt updates suchen klicke, sagt er Firmwrare auf dem neuesten Stand.

    Das hat er auch bei der 1856 Version nicht gemacht, was dazu führte, dass deadbolt bei mir vorbeischaute. Ist zwar nichts passiert, weil alles gesichert war aber wenn mann sich nicht einmal auf das autoupdate verlassen kann...


    Hat jemand einen Ansatz für mich?

    Ganz normal über Automatisches Update, beim Login sagte er, dass da eine neue Version wäre.

    Einmal das NAS sauber gebootet und beim nächsen Login brachte er den Spruch wieder.

    Dann installieren lassen und nach dem nächsten Reboot war die Sache erledigt.

    Ich kann nur raten das selbst in die Hand zu nehmen, zumindest wenn Du die Möge und Möglichkeit dazu hast. Die meisten User hier machen das manuell weil durch das unvorhersehbare automatische Update durchaus Probleme entstehen können.

    Nichtsdestotrotz sollte das natürlich funktionieren, wenn es schon aktiviert ist, keine Frage.

    Dazu hatte ich einige Zeit ein Ticket offen (nicht QuTS hero sondern QTS), was kürzlich geschlossen wurde nachdem die Probleme (vermutlich seitens Updateserver) eingestellt wurden. Eventuell hierzu mal ein Ticket erstellen.

    Noch als Nachtrag - über Qfinder signalisiert er nur das TS-673A mit neuer Firmware, das andere nicht.
