First of all sorry for using english, I'm not from Germany. Your post was the only one showing up on a google search for hal_enc_reset message.
Have you been able to solve the problem?
I have a TS-451 and I'm experiencing the same problem. The device sometimes enters into a state in which it resets by itself every few minutes, even without HDDs. I checked the dmesg log and I see the exact same message as you did:
[ 273.653550] hal_enc_reset[741]: segfault at 46 ip 00000000f71744ad sp 00000000f3e52060 error 4 in libc-2.6.1.so[f711e000+12d000]
Apparently the problems started after upgrading to some beta 4.x firmware, but the problem remained even after going back to official firmware.
I am able to boot the device with a live USB stick, I have run memory tests and the hardware seems fine (BTW, I have upgraded the original memory in the device, but changing it seems to make no difference)
I'm interested in your experience and any advice for solving it.
