    Das kann doch gar nicht sein, so ein MurX seitens Qnap!!
    Gibt es hier mal ein BugFix in absehbarer Zeit oder sollen die Leute damit leben, dass dauernd das System vollgemüllt wird mit irgend welchen Files und der Lüfter auf 100% dreht?

    Nach deiner Anmerkung habe ich es aber noch ein mal Manuel eingespielt.

    Ich habe sogar eine ältere Build drauf.
    TS-659_20141003-4.1.1 - sowohl mit dieser als auch mit der neusten Build
    QTS 4.1.1 Build 1101 keine TimeMachine zu sehen auf der Oberfläche

    Es kann doch nicht sein, dass man für ein Gerät derart viel bezahlt und am Ende doch nur MurX bekommt.


    Nichts desto Trotz ich habe jetzt das Qnap und würde gerne die TimeMachine benutzten.
    Falls sich jemand angesprochen fühlt bitte um Antwort...

    Ich benötige Hilfe bzgl. der TimeMachine.


    Seit dem Update meines Qnap TS-659 Pro+ (Aktuelle Firmware 4.1.1) ist die TimeMachine verschwunden.
    Einfach weg!


    Es gibt kein Menüpunkt mehr der es mir erlauben würde TimeMachine an oder aus zu machen.
    Natürlich kann ich mit meinen Mac nicht mehr sichern, er findet keine TimeMachine mehr, wie auch sie ist weg.
    Der Ordner von den früheren Sicherungen befindet sich allerdings noch auf der Festplatte (Qnap)


    Wie kann man nur so ein MurX Update rausbringen, auch wenn der MAC nicht gerade die Zielgruppe von Qnap ist. :cursing:

    Schalte mal TM in OS X ab, dann auch auf der QNAP.
    Anschließend wieder aktivieren und neues Passwort vergeben und TM in OS X wieder aktivieren.
    Das gefundene Laufwerk wieder für TM nutzen.
    Es wird nach dem neuen Passwort gefragt. Nutzer ist ja immer TimeMachine.


    Dann sollte es wieder funktionieren.

    Die ersten zwei bis 3 GB gehen relativ flott aber dann geht gar nichts mehr, zum verzweifeln.

    Im Forum gibt es diverse Berichte darüber, dass Time Machine auf Qnap sehr langsam ist.
    Bei mir funktioniert es erst gar nicht.
    Backup fängt an und bricht dann bei 3 GB oder 4 GB ab egal ob über WLAN oder über Netzwerk...

    Fehler: Max reconnect time: 30 secs, Connect timeout: 15 secs for /Volumes/TMBackup
    --> Mehr gibt die Konsole nicht her!


    Backup läuft und läuft und läuft und läuft hängt aber wie gesagt bei 4GB von 15 und es geht nicht weiter.
    Liegt es an der Qnap software?

    Wenn ich eine Datei die größer als 1014 MB per scp übertrage bricht die Verbindung ab. = Timeout


    Hat jemand einen Hinweis für mich wie ich das Abbrechen der übertragen verhindern kann?

    Das kann ich dir auch nicht genau sagen woran man das erkennt, ob der Speicher 8 Chips hat, zumindest nicht bis du das Teil in Händen hältst, dann siehst es ja :roll:
    Ich habe mal den hier "NB-DDR3RAM 4GB DDR3-1333 Transcend JetRAM" ausprobiert.
    Leider fährt der QNAP damit nicht hoch.
    --> Der hatte auch mehr Chips als 8
    ---> Die Jungs hier im Forum meinten es sollte ein Riegel mit 8 Chips sein!

    Tatsache ist, dass der Verbaute 4 Chips auf jeder Seite hat = insgesamt 8 !!
