- Removed the following applications from App Center due to PHP 7 updates in QTS 4.4.1: phpEasyProject, Dolphin, CMS Made Simple, Vtiger CRM, iStat, and ownCloud.
- Due to compatibility issues, the following applications have been removed from the App Center in QTS 4.4.1: FileFlex, MantisBT, SugarCRM, Xeams, DokuWiki, and Azure Storage.
- Once you update QTS to 4.4.1 (or later) on the TS-1635AX, you will not be able to downgrade QTS to versions earlier than 4.4.1.
- Removed support for Plex Home Theater from HybridDesk Station.
- After reaching their end of support in July 2020, Notes Station and Qnotes have been removed from QTS App Center, Google Play, and Apple App Store. We recommend using Notes Station 3 and Qnotes 3 to benefit from the next-generation note-taking features. - Removed HappyGet from the App Center due to changes in Google extension policies.
- Starting from 4.5.1, QTS is no longer compatible with the following applications: DJ2 Console, CodexPack.
Security Updates
- Fixed a cross-site scripting vulnerability in Media Viewer (CVE-2020-36194).
Fixed Issues
- Users could not restore files from snapshots after disabling advanced folder permissions and Windows ACL support.
- Storage & Snapshots would display mounted remote shared folders when restoring files from a volume snapshot, resulting in a failure to restore data.
- SNMP OIDs would report volume status as "unknown" when users performed SSD trim.
- Storage & Snapshots could not display RAID groups created with SSDs installed on the QM2 expansion card.
- When redundant power supply mode was enabled, certain NAS models could not correctly display PSU temperatures and PSU fan speeds in Storage & Snapshots > Disks/VJBOD > Enclosure Information.
- QTS could not save the encryption key for an encrypted shared folder when the password contained more than 18 characters.
- The NAS would restart unexpectedly when users took snapshots on volumes whose NFS shared folders were mounted.
- After unlocking an SED secure storage pool, applications installed on this storage pool could not automatically launch upon QTS startup.
- Notification Center could not send a notification email about system wakeup when the NAS resumed from S3 sleep mode if users created a virtual switch.
- Disk temperatures on the TL SAS expansion enclosures were higher than expected.
- Fan speeds on the TL SAS expansion enclosures could not adjust automatically according to disk temperatures, causing overheat on some disks.
- Files in the home folder of one user could not be moved to the home folder of another user.
- QTS installation wizard could not display the screen for specifying the administrator password when AdBlock was enabled on the web browser.
- Dashboard could not correctly display storage information after users created a large number of shared folders.
- Cache Acceleration would appear in search results and its setup screen could be launched even on NAS models that did not support this feature.
- Users could not send a test email using a Microsoft Exchange email account in QTS desktop > Options.
- QTS could not send an email for password reset after users tried to log in with different capitalization of their username.
- VJBOD storage pools and volumes could not function normally after users updated QTS to 4.5.2.1566 build 20210202.
- On certain NAS models, Control Panel and the desktop could not display audio control options.
- On the TVS-x72 models, QTS could not display installed graphics cards or accelerator cards in Control Panel > System > Hardware > Hardware Resources, and the infotip in Resource Use did not display correct information.
- Thunderbolt connection between the NAS and the Mac would be interrupted if the Mac entered sleep mode for more than 10 minutes.
- File access permissions would not be correctly configured for domain users when advanced folder permissions were not enabled.
